THE KUT ‘VALLEY OF THORNS’ ALBUM LAUNCH PARTY

The Kut is the alter-ego of multi–instrumentalist Princess Maha, joined on stage by Diana Bartmann and Stella Vie. Influenced by 90’s grunge, their vocals add an ethereal dimension to their Hole-esque catchy guitar riffs. Their debut album ‘Valley of Thorns’ was produced by James LeRock Loughrey (Skindred / Def Leppard / White Zombie / My Vitriol) and  has been released alongside a string of headline tour dates and features entries at no.7 in the UK Rock Album Chart and no.6 in the UK Indie Breakers Album Chart. The band already praise significant recognition – they featured as one of Kerrang! Magazine’s Breakthrough Acts; they have played numerous UK festivals, such as Download, Camden Rocks and Rebellion, among others; and they have toured several European Countries. We couldn’t be more excited to have The Kut back at The Green Door Store for an incredible live performance.

“The Kut are like the bastard lovechild of Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson with awesome riffs and chaotic live shows.” – Metal Hammer

Sons will be gracing our stage once again – The Kut couldn’t have chosen a more fitting support act. After having been signed to Till Deaf Do Us Party Records and having played significant shows, such as The Great Escape, Camden Rocks and Reading Festival, Sons’ success has done nothing but increase. Their energy will win over even the most fussy of live music lovers and their riffs will fill you with the need to move from start to finish. The duo’s stage presence is explosive and  they’ll leave you wanting for more.

Next on the line up are The Green Door Store’s sweethearts, Bitch Theme.  This Brighton based grunge four piece is a great reason to come down early to the show. Haunting bass lines blend with distorted guitar riffs and provide the perfect background for celestial vocals that resolve into sharp screams. Their onstage energy is incredible and you won’t be able to leave the room during their performance.

Fierce, loud and dynamic, they will imprison your mind and mess with your senses. – Laura, GDS.

Brighton based four piece Hightown Parade will be opening the show. Heavily influenced by Queen and Guns n’ Roses, the band add to their sound with a dose of Motley Crue inspired riffs, which are sweetened by hints of soft piano and melodic vocals. Make  sure to come down early to check their flamboyant live performance.

“Based around the precocious talents of vocalist, guitarist, pianist and songwriter Chris Payn, Hightown Parade are a band that write songs like they have been doing this for years. – Hotvox
