Hail Spirit Noir was founded in 2012 by Haris, Demian and Theoharis (also members of Transcending Bizarre?), making their debut with the highly acclaimed album ‘PNEUMA’ by Code666 recs. They have so far released 5 full-length albums, including “Fossil Gardens,” their latest release in 2024 by Agonia Records. Hail Spirit Noir are known for their diverse musical influences, drawing from psychedelic, progressive, and black metal. Their style has evolved significantly over the years, incorporating electronic and retro-futuristic sounds. They even released a pop/horror/ synthwave one-off soundtrack album, called ‘Mannequins’ (Agonia Recs, 2021). All their albums received extremely positive reviews, were featured in many year-end lists and nominated for several music awards (i.e. Metal Storm Awards).
Since 2018, they evolved from a trio to a sextet, including live members and they have so far played in many prestigious festivals such as Roadburn (NE), Inferno (NOR), House of the Holy (AU), Dark Bombastic Evening (RO), Rockwave (GRE) and more. After a 7-year hiatus, caused mainly by the covid pandemic and the writing of new material, they are back on the road since summer 2025. Their live performances are intense, psychedelic and are based on improvisation and the twisting of their studio material.
