When I was 18, I came to PUSSYLIQUOR’s first show at Green Door Store and decided they were my new favourite band. I approached a band member after the show and told them to let me join. I said kick a guitarist out, have me instead. Ten years later….say goodbye to me at the same venue 🙁 I’m leaving England for a while

I don’t know how long I’ll be gone for, and one day they’ll probably have me outside their windows with a boombox in the rain begging to come back. They’re my best friends in the entire world and running off to chase other dreams was the hardest decision I’ve ever made

Being in this band is by far the most meaningful and important part of my life, and it has been the only thing keeping me in place geographically. I have loved playing for you all so deeply and it has meant the world to me to see so many people resonate with our music and ethos. I am not exaggerating when I say this project and the people I do it with saved my life and gave me meaning in some of the darkest times a person can go through. It’s only because of the adventures this band has taken me on that I have the strength and confidence to go and experience life elsewhere. I know they will kick ass in my absence
